Reversing heart disease is possible through adopting a healthy lifestyle like healthy eating habits and kicking out inactivity through the window and start exercising.

For many years, experts in medical field and us know that embracing a diet high in saturated fat, and cholesterol is the primary and essential cause of coronary heart diseases.

  • 3. Those with Hypertension or High blood pressure
  • 4. Cigarette smokers
  • 5. Those with High cholesterol

1. Eliminate high fat diet - One way of reversing heart disease is by doing away with saturated fats. First of all you start by eliminating high fat diet from your menu and make a commitment to stick to that.

And some of the ways to reduce high fat diet includes using skimmed milk/reduced fat instead of whole milk , use lean red meat, healthy cooking oils even for dressing such as olive oils which are very healthy and good for your heart.

Eat rich , unrefined whole foods and ones rich in fiber. Also increase intake of fresh fruits and vegetables.

2. Lose weight - lose weight by eating healthy unrefined foods and exercise, for having a healthy weight is good for your heart as it doesn't strain it when it comes to its functionality.

3. Quit smoking and reduce alcohol intake -Quit smoking and alcohol and you will start reversing heart disease that continue to claim lives everyday. Alcohol has a potential risk of raising blood pressure, blood lipids and even the risk of stroke and heart disease.

4. Exercise - Doing exercise is another way of reversing heart disease. Our creator of the universe designed our bodies for activity and not inactivity which many of us have adopted. Exercise has so many tremendous benefits to our body and health.

Like it helps in strengthening our heart , lower bad LDL cholesterol levels in the blood and also lowers blood pressure and maintain a healthy weight.
